One of the many things that made Spider-Verse such a hit was the fact that it finally brought a fan-favorite version of Spider-Man, Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore), to the big screen. As Miles begins to meet other members of the Spider-Verse, he gets to know Gwen Stacy, voiced by Hailee. So it’s a sad Peter Parker but it doesn’t necessarily end as sad for Peter Parker, so keep your eyes on him. 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a kaleidoscopic, multiverse-spanning adventure that threw multiple incarnations of Spidey together, and was so well-received by critics and fans alike that it shot to the top of many Spider-Man movie rankings, over Sam Raimi's original trilogy with Tobey Maguire as well as the Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland versions of the iconic superhero. It’s Peter Parker at 40 and after things with MJ and his life haven’t worked out exactly how he had hoped.
